The Zambia Tourism Agency wishes to invite suitably qualified and experienced Zambian nationals to fill the following vacant positions:
HUMAN RESOURCE AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICER (1 POSITION) – RE-ADVERTISED
Reporting to the Human Resource and Administration Manager, the Human Resource & Administration Officer is responsible for undertaking the human resource and administration functions in order to facilitate efficient and effective operations of the Agency.
Principle Accountabilities
Undertakes effectively the formulating and implementation of human resource management plans in order to enhance staff retention and productivity.
Implements effectively the industrial relations policies in order to achieve industrial harmony in the organization.
Undertakes periodically reports necessary to carry out functions of the department in order to facilitate decision making.
Undertakes efficiently human resource development functions in order to enhance staff performance.
Updates effectively the Human Resource and Administration records in order to ensure ease access and retrieval.
Undertakes effectively wellness programs in order to enhance awareness and mitigate the impact of ailments at workplace.
Undertakes effectively the provision of administrative and other logistics in order to facilitate efficient and effective operations of the Agency
Undertakes effectively the implementation of performance management in order to monitor, evaluate and enhance performance.
Undertakes effectively human, financial and other resources in order to facilitate achievement of set objectives.
Qualifications and Personal attributes:
Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate
Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management or equivalent
Knowledge of the Zambian labour laws
Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM)
Able to write reports
Computer literate
Integrity
Confidentiality
Interpersonal skills.
