Job Title: Human Resource Manager

JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resource Manager Job is a Full-time position based at head office in Lusaka. He/She Shall ensure Human Resource functions are adequately carried out effectively on time putting into cognizance clients’ and employee satisfaction and increased stake-holders value.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Liaises with the Vice President (Administration) in Planning, organizing, and implementing all activities of the department. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems. Implements and monitors performance evaluation program.
- Develops, recommends, and implements HR policies and procedures.
- Conducts recruitment, new-employee orientations; Monitors career path program, employee relations counseling, and exit interviewing.
- Establishes and maintains department records and reports.
- Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
- Identifies staff training needs and ensures the implementation of identified learning and development interventions.
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
- Liaises various regulatory stakeholders to ensure compliance with the Laws of the Land
- Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
- Full grade 12 Certificate
- Minimum Degree in Human Resources management/ Business Administration/ Other related discipline, Master Degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum Five year experience practicing Human Resources
- Registered and paid up Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resources (ZIHRM)
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS
- Proficient in Human Resource Information Systems, including Excel and MS Word.
- Thorough knowledge of Zambian labour laws and legislation
- Outstanding Organizational and time-management abilities
- Strong Ethics and Reliability
- Knowledgeable of all aspects of HR management including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits.
- Effective Communicator (written and verbal), English is essential
- Highly organized, self motivated, honest, ability to work under pressure and privatize tasks
- Willing to grow with the organization
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Detail Oriented
