TMLP is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Accountant to join the team. As Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our firm. You will work closely with our partners and administrative team to maintain accurate financial records, perform financial analysis, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations.
- Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines.
- Payroll Management: Manage payroll process to ensure accurate and timely compensation.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Financial Planning: Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies and provide guidance on financial decisions.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial and accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related professional qualification
- ZICA certification
- At least 4 years’ work experience as an Accountant, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ethical and trustworthy, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
