JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Risk and Compliance Officer at ALTUS GROUP, you will be responsible for performing financial and compliance audit assignments, identifying risks, and objectively evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls, governance, and risk management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform financial and compliance audit assignments under supervision.
2. Oversee all compliance functions for Altus Group of Companies.
3. Review Policies & Procedures.
4. Prepare compliance reports reflecting conclusions on internal controls and operational efficiencies.
5. Conduct compliance procedures for business processes and application controls.
6. Identify, develop, and document compliance issues and recommendations.
7. Prepare compliance working papers and address review points.
8. Participate in identifying and evaluating compliance risks and develop the annual compliance plan.
9. Evaluate internal controls, governance, and risk management processes.
10. Assist in preparing planning memos and compliance programs for assignments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
Professional certification is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial auditing and compliance.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and under supervision.
Audit experience added advantage.
