Our client in a leading company in the hospitality industry, dedicated to providing exceptional services to our clients and guests, are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Technical Services Person and Driver to join their team.

Job Summary:

As a Technical Services Person and Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and services. This dual-role position involves providing technical support, maintenance, and transportation services to support our hospitality operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Services:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repair of equipment, fixtures, and facilities to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of audio-visual equipment for events and meetings.
  • Maintain an inventory of spare parts and equipment to ensure immediate availability when needed.
  • Collaborate with external service providers and contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance.

Driving:

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport guests, employees, and materials as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests during transportation, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
  • Keep the company vehicles clean, well-maintained, and perform regular inspections to ensure they are in compliance with safety standards.
  • Plan efficient routes and schedules to minimize travel time and optimize productivity.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in technical maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
