We are seeking a skilled and experienced Human resource officer to join our dynamic and growing organization. The Human Resource Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining a productive and positive work environment and support the HR team in various tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization’s human resource activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Providing administrative support to the HR department, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining HR records and databases.
- Recruitment: Assisting in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Onboarding: Assisting with the onboarding process for new hires, including organizing orientation programs, preparing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Employee Relations: handling employee inquiries, issues, and grievances, and ensuring effective communication between management and employees.
- HR Policies and Procedures: Assisting in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Training and Development Support: Assisting in organizing and coordinating training programs and workshops, and helping to monitor employee training progress and development.
- Record-Keeping and Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and leave records, and ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive HR information.
- Benefits Administration Support: Assisting in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
- HR Compliance: Assisting in ensuring that the organization adheres to legal and regulatory requirements related to employment, such as labor laws and industry-specific regulations.
- HR Projects: Supporting HR initiatives and projects, such as employee engagement programs, performance management, and organizational development activities.
- Data Management: Assisting in collecting and analyzing HR data and preparing reports to support decision-making and to monitor key HR metrics.
- Stay Updated: Staying informed about developments and trends in HR practices and policies to contribute to the improvement and effectiveness of HR operations..
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience as an Human resource officer
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is preferred
