Skills and Qualifications
- Strong technical and proven experience developing HR manuals, company policies and code of conducts including employee development and company trainings and communication strategies
- In depth knowledge of the Zambian employment and labor laws and policies
- Excellent people management skills
- Excellent written and oral English skills
- Proven experience as an hr consultant
- Experience in project management preferably HR related
- Experience in conducting team building trainings and organising employee development plans
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods and best practices
- Solid understanding of research methods and analysis
- Computer savvy with working knowledge of human resource IT (ATS, Payroll etc.)
Roles and responsibilities
- Conducting research on the HR needs and gaps in Zambia including HR related trends in Zambia and some of the best practices in managing people
- Formulating business plans and engagement letters to clients
- Business development and stakeholder engagement
- Running an HR blog with weekly updates
- Conducting HR consultancies
- Developing training manuals and company policies on behalf of clients
- Conducting trainings in HR on behalf a client
- and any other jobs related to administration and HR
Education background and Qualifications
- BSc/BA in human resources, business administration or relevant field;
MSc/MA in human resources will be a plus
Licensed with the human resource institute of Zambia
