Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Assistant Coxswain Trainer for a short-term assignment lasting one week. The responsibilities include:
- Conducting boat checks and preparation.
- Ensuring the readiness of all safety equipment, including radios.
- Proficiency in trailer works, including backing, hooking up, and safe transport.
- Skill in tying and untying the boat to the wharf.
- Experience in the launch and recovery of boats.
- Basic boat handling skills.
- Familiarity with basic navigation, including buoys and beacons.
- Practical boat handling expertise.
- Knowledge of knots and lines work.
Qualifications:
- G12 Certificates.
- Certificate in life-saving guide/techniques
- Certificate in boat operation.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience as a boat operator trainer is an added advantage.
