We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our transport and logistics company. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in the transport and logistics industry . As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to increase revenue, market share, and profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve the company’s sales goals and objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Prepare and present proposals to clients that align with their business needs and objectives.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to promote the company and build relationships with potential clients.
- Prepare and present business development reports to senior management on a regular basis.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, logistics, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in sales, transport and logistics.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business development strategies and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Strong customer focus and a commitment to providing exceptional service. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
