Assistant Laboratory Technician x 2- G7 (Permanent and Pensionable) Lusaka Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited

REPORTING TO: Senior Chemist

JOB PURPOSE

Cleans, sterilizes laboratory ware and calibrates equipment as well as assist in the sampling and testing of waste water samples.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Scheduled sampling and analyzing of waste water from treatment plants.
ii. Cleans laboratory ware, bench tops and sterilize bacteriological laboratory ware.
iii. Prepares and packs sampling kits.
iv. Carries out calibration on all equipment.
v. Carries out physical tests.
vi. Carries out any other duties as may be delegated from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience

i. School Certificate.
ii. Certificate in laboratory Science.
iii. At least Two (2) years relevant work experience.
