SALES MANAGER – LUSAKA

The company operates an online microlending and Investment platform for small businesses and individuals, making financial services inclusive, accessible, and affordable.
As part of our expansion plan, we are inviting applications from suitably qualified, experienced, ambitious, self-motivated individuals to apply for the position of Sales Manager.
JOB BRIEF
The Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies. The Sales Manager will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record in sales management, and a deep understanding of the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands the companies customer base
- Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs
- Recruit and manage sales agents and representatives, set objectives, train and coach them, and monitor their performance
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for
- Ensure that set targets are met by clearly setting objectives and monitoring performance on a daily, weekly and month basis
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the financial services industry.
- Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing
- Strong leadership, communication and team management skills.
- Results – oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of financial products and services.
