Livestock Worker – Poultry & Fish Farm

Looking for someone to manage the Poultry & Fish section of the farm.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Culling and Vaccination of Chicks
2. Feed Making of Chicks
3. Feeding and Water of Poultry.
4. Adhering to Bio- Security Procedures.
5. Egg Collection of Layers
6. Feeding fish by hand
7. Grading fish by size, moving them to bigger tanks
8. Checking and maintaining water quality
9. Checking fish for disease, preventing and treating infection
10. Draining and cleaning tanks, filters and nets
11. Any other tasks assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Any degree & diploma in Agriculture & Livestock.
2. Should be Honest, Sober – minded & Non – Alcoholic.
3. Should be physically fit, prefered aged 25 to 40.
4. Should have proven experience in managing these livestock before.
5. Should be willing to live on a new developing farm which is solar – powered.
6. Experience in managing crops i.e. Maize, Soya, Groundnuts & Sunflower will be an added advantage.
