Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities:
- Business Insight: Dive deep into business operations to understand, document, and analyze requirements, processes, and objectives.
- Innovative Solutions Design: Work collaboratively with our tech teams to craft solutions that are both innovative and practical, ensuring they align with our strategic vision.
- Bridge Building: Act as a vital link between our clients and technical teams, simplifying complex concepts for a variety of audiences.
- Documentation Mastery: Create and manage comprehensive project documentation, including but not limited to business requirements, process maps, and system specifications.
- Strategic Project Management: Play an active role in project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication across all project phases.
- Quality Assurance: Engage in rigorous testing and validation activities to ensure the highest quality of delivered solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Constantly seek out and recommend process enhancements to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
- Market Analysis and Insights: Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor strategies. Use these insights to inform solution development and strategic decision-making.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all proposed solutions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices, minimizing risk and promoting ethical standards across operations.
- Client Engagement and Feedback: Engage directly with clients to gather feedback on existing solutions and identify new opportunities for service enhancement. Use this feedback to inform continuous improvement and innovation.
- Training and Support: Develop and deliver training materials for end-users, ensuring clients and internal teams are well-equipped to use and support new systems and processes.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Leverage data analytics tools to analyze performance metrics, providing reports and actionable insights to stakeholders to guide business decisions.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay informed of emerging technologies and assess their potential application to current and future business challenges. Recommend technology adoptions or changes that could benefit the organization.
- Change Management: Lead or contribute to change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transition and adoption of new processes, systems, or technologies across the organization.
- Performance Measurement: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for implemented solutions, ensuring they deliver expected benefits and making adjustments as necessary.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with new projects or system implementations and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Budgeting and Cost Analysis: Participate in the budgeting process for IT projects, including cost-benefit analysis and return on investment (ROI) calculations, to support effective decision-making and financial planning.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers, managing relationships and ensuring that agreements, deliveries, and service levels meet the company’s needs and standards.
Requirements
- Posses a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a closely related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Bring proven experience to the table as a Business Analyst or similar role, demonstrating a track record of successful project completion.
- Exhibit exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Are an excellent communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to interact effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Have hands-on experience with process modeling, requirement gathering techniques, and are proficient with tools like Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence.
- Understand project management methodologies and the nuances of the software development lifecycle.
- Are adept at working in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- Hold a certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or have significant experience in payment systems, both of which are highly regarded.
