WORKSHOP FOREMAN
Requirements
1. Grade 12 or GCE qualification
2. Craft Certificate in Auto Mechanic
3. Craft Certificate in Auto Electrical added advantage
4. Familiar with Benz and Volvo trucks
5. 3 years’ work experience in similar position
6. Computer literate and familiar with Auto diagnostic systems
7. Must be a Lusaka resident
Duties and responsibilities
Reporting directly to your superiors, your duties will include but not limited to;
1. Responsible for the maintenance and servicing of all motor vehicles
2. Oversee and supervise workshop staff
3. Delegating individual responsibilities to workshop staff
4. Troubleshoot routine issues that occur on the job site.
5. Promptly attend to and resolve motor vehicle break downs
6. Ensure that job cards are maintained and properly filled
7. Ensuring that safety rules are followed on the site at all times
8. Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel
9. Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, managing and mentoring workshop staff
10. Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear and procedures
11. Assist with the procurement of motor vehicle spares and lubricants
12. Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably at the workshop
13. Regularly reporting work status to supervisors and any challenges arising
14. Report and compile incident reports to management
15. Any other duties as may be assigned by superiors
WORKSHOP STORES OFFICER
Requirements
1. Grade 12 or GCE qualification
2. Certificate or better in Stores Management
3. 3 years’ work experience in similar position
4. Knowledge of Automotive spares & lubricants
5. Computer literate and familiar with stores management applications
6. Must be a Lusaka resident
Duties and responsibilities
Reporting directly to your superiors, your duties will include but not limited to;
1. Manages workshop stores office through efficient & effectively control of stocks and avoid overstocking, stock-outs, and ensure correct usage at all times.
2. Plans and coordinates the replenishment of stock materials to ensure smooth operations.
3. Carries out spot checks to verify the accuracy of stock records and ensures that inventories are secure and safe to prevent losses/damages.
4. Designs and reviews stores record-keeping systems for the efficient management of stock
5. Reviews and recommends identified redundant and obsolete stocks for disposal.
6. Prepares and produces periodic reports on the operations of the store’s section for management’s decision-making.
7. Performs any other related duties as assigned by superiors
