Farm Worker x2 Farm

A farm in Lusaka West (Mungwi Road) has 2 job openings as below:

1. Agriculture Worker
   1. Lead in crop planting, managing, harvesting and storage of various commercial crops (i.e. maize, soyabean,groundnuts,sunflower)
   2. Operate and maintain farm equipment
   3. Should have knowledge of operating a drip & sprinkler irrgation system
   4. Scout out for pests & diseases and apply the necessay chemicals
   5. Maintain record of all agriculture activities
   6. Must have atleast 3 years work experience on a large scale farm
   7. Must have an Agriculture degree
2. Poultry Assistant
   1. Assist the poultry supervisor in the activities relating to the management of broilers & layers
   2. Should have full knowledge of diseases in broilers & layers and propose the right medication for it
   3. Check the temperature, litter quality, food & water for the birds in the house
   4. Ensure the bio-security measures are followed by all the entrants
   5. Should have experience in managing a minimum of 5000 broilers
   6. Must have a degree in Livestock Management
   7. Minimum experience of 3 years is required

Both the positions are based in Lusaka West as of now and the succesful candidate must be willing to relocate to the farm on a long-term basis and might also be required to be relocated to any other town as an when need arises.
