Elephant Charge Graphic Design: Scope of Work
Project Overview: The annual event graphic design project involves creating visual assets and collateral to promote and enhance the branding and identity of the event. The graphic designer will work closely with the event organizers to develop materials that effectively communicate the event’s theme, message, and key information to attendees and stakeholders.
Scope of Work:
- Initial Consultation:
- Meet with the client to discuss the event objectives, theme, target audience, and design preferences.
- Review any existing branding guidelines or materials to ensure consistency.
- Concept Development:
- Brainstorm and present multiple design concepts for the event’s visual identity, including logo, color scheme, typography, and imagery.
- Incorporate feedback from the client to refine and finalize the chosen concept.
- Design Deliverables:
- Create a comprehensive set of design deliverables for both print and digital platforms, including but not limited to:
- Event logo and variations (e.g., color, black and white, horizontal, vertical).
- Events posters/flyer design(s): Main event, Results Night, Mock Charge etc
- Social media graphics (banners, posts, profile images).
- Website graphics and banners.
- Event programme
- Signage and banners for the event venue.
- Merchandise design (e.g., t-shirts, tote bags).
- Revision Rounds:
- Provide multiple rounds of revisions based on client feedback.
- Ensure all design elements align with the client’s vision and branding guidelines.
- Final Deliverables:
- Deliver all finalized design files in the appropriate formats for print and digital use.
- Include high-resolution files suitable for printing, as well as web-optimized formats for online promotion.
- Timeline and Milestones:
- Agree upon a timeline with specific milestones for each deliverable.
- Provide regular progress updates to the client to ensure the project stays on track.
Additional Considerations:
- The graphic designer will ensure all design work is original and does not infringe upon any copyright or intellectual property rights.
- Any stock images or assets used in the designs will be properly licensed or credited.
- The designer will maintain open communication with the client throughout the project duration and be responsive to any inquiries or concerns.
Budget:
- The budget for this project will be determined based on the scope of work and the complexity of the design deliverables.
- Any additional expenses, such as printing costs or stock image purchases, will be discussed and agreed upon with the client beforehand.
Terms and Conditions:
- A formal agreement outlining the scope of work, timeline, deliverables, and payment terms will be provided before the start of the project.
- Elephant Charge will have the opportunity to review and approve the final designs before they are delivered or published.
