The key responsibilities for this role include but not limited to the following:
- Provides administrative support to Chief Executive Officer and department, and follows through general office management procedures to facilitate smooth operations of the department;
- Maintains general office upkeep of equipment and maintenance, stocking office and stationary supplies;
- Attends to office calls and transfer appropriately, interacts with visitors, suppliers and vendors;
- Manages scheduling for company executives;
- Drafts, reviews and sends communication on behalf of company executives;
- Coordinates purchasing process for the department;
- Maintains office calendar and diary for the Chief Executive Officer;
- Prepares communications for Chief Executive Officer and entire department;
- Undertakes general office management and administration;
- Undertakes travel arrangements for local and international travel;
- Undertakes general clerical duties including, typing, copying, mailing as well as filing;
- Files and retrieves organizational documents, records and reports;
- Coordinates and maintains departmental records and expense claims;
- Compiles, transcribes and distributes minutes of meetings;
- Coordinates meetings and function arrangements for the department.
Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate with 5 credit or better of which English and Mathematics are a must;
- College Diploma in administration or secretarial;
- Experience of three (3) years in an administrative role in a corporate environment carrying out general office responsibilities and procedures.
