Driver/ General Service Assistant PMBUZI Management Consultancy

OVERVIEW:

PMBuzi Management Consultancy is currently recruiting on behalf of Every Orphan’s Hope for the position of a Driver/ General Service Assistant. The role involves facilitating staff travel for all Every Orphan’s Hope program activities within the country. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of Every Orphan’s Hope staff and maintaining the security of the project vehicle. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth implementation of Every Orphan’s Hope activities by providing reliable and efficient transportation support.

RESPONSBILITIES

• Driving Every Orphan’s Hope staff for project work as required.
• Ensure that the project vehicle is clean and in good working condition.
• Perform daily errands as assigned Ensure all road safety accessories are secured in the project vehicle.
• Ensure passengers adhere to all safety regulations such as wearing of safety belts.
• Conduct a weekly checklist of vehicle condition and submits to supervisor for review.
• Always ensure security of vehicle.
• Adherence to Every Orphan’s Hope ’s vehicle uses policy manual.
• Assist with project assignments at the office and during field activities.
• Any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Must be a Lusaka resident.
• Basic minimum Grade Twelve certificate.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience working as a driver preferably in International Non- Governmental Organizations for 2- 3 years.
• Valid driver’s license with 5 years driving experience.
• Experience in providing administrative assistance to a development project.
• Excellent knowledge of traffic rules and road laws of Zambia.
