DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES
- Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising stuff, and allocating tasks.
- Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc. .
- Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
- Coordinating inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
- Managing the maintenance of office/manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
- Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
- Training new employees in the purchasing process and how to use the purchasing system.
- Oversees team of inventory or warehouse employees.
- Manages inventory tracking systems to record deliveries, shipment and stock levels.
- Analyses daily products and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
- Manages schedules of employees, deliveries and shipments to optimize operations.
- Communicate with inventory employees to meet business goals and address personal issues.
- Develop business relationships with suppliers and clients.
- Proposal’s strategies to reduce cost and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.
- Monitors demand and analyses data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
- Reports on inventory levels, supply chain process, procedure efficiency and personal issues to upper management.
- Tender Committee duties
- Any other duty assigned by the supervisor.
