Objectives of the Role:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective strategies to attract students to Harvest University’s programs.
- Assist in creating marketing materials and content tailored to different audiences and platforms.
- Track and analyze marketing campaign performance to optimize results and ROI.
- Support the coordination of events, webinars, and outreach activities to increase awareness and enrollment.
- Help maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and communications.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, preferences, and competitors in the educational sector.
- Assist in developing marketing plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with Harvest University’s goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and other team members to create engaging marketing collateral.
- Monitor social media channels and engage with followers to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Coordinate logistics for events and webinars, including venue booking, speaker arrangements, and promotional materials.
- Prepare regular reports on marketing metrics and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure Harvest University’s marketing efforts remain competitive.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree in marketing will be added advantage.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms, CRM systems, and content management systems.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for marketing campaigns.
- Member of The Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM).
- Previous experience in marketing coordination or a related role, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, including branding, messaging, and audience segmentation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms, such as social media management tools and analytics software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
*Experience with graphic design or video editing software is a plus.
