About the Role:
We are seeking a candidate with demonstrated work experience in the Civil Engineering space. The ideal candidate will help the company grow its construction portfolio and will report directly to the Chief Infrastructure Officer.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Source, design, scope and oversee construction projects.
• Attend bid walks, prepare bill of materials and bidding documents.
• Provide creative solutions to ensure timely and safe delivery of projects.
• Responsible for production of construction drawings in alignment with client expectations.
• Manage projects on schedule and cost.
• Build a portfolio of clients through rigorous business development efforts.
Competencies & Role Expectations:
• BEng/BSc in Civil or Construction Engineering.
• Five (5) years of work experience in Construction/Civil Engineering.
• Must be able to submit a portfolio of projects managed and delivered in the last 3 years.
• Member of the EIZ
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to travel >50% of the time.
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualization softwares such as AutoDesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD or similar.
