The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) on behalf of the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) in Zambia invites applications from suitable dynamic and self-motivated Zambian nationals to be part of the pool of enumerators to conduct data collection services in household surveys.
Position: Enumerator
Location: Various rural districts across Zambia
Duration: Approximately 30 days
Responsibilities:
- Conduct face-to-face interviews and surveys with respondents in assigned areas using tablets.
- Ensure accurate and reliable data collection according to project protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards throughout the survey process.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Upload collected data.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in data collection, surveys, or fieldwork preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Familiarity with mobile data collection tools is an advantage.
- Availability to work in rural parts of Zambia.
- Able to communicate and use local languages i.e. Bemba, Nyanja, Chewa, Tumbuka, Tonga, Mambwe, Lungu etc.
