POSITION: BOOK KEEPER
We are seeking a skilled Book keeper to join our fast-growing team and manage our financial
transactions and stock inventory efficiently. The Book Keeper will report to the Accountant and the Nankunda Management Team.
The candidate should be a resident of Lusaka.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payables, accounts receivables, and
general ledger entries. - Conduct regular reconciliations of sales reports, inventory records and student meals plan.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving of stock as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
- Receipt and deposit of all cash sales and providing a daily sales report.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management Team in line with the company requirements and policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role within the food
production industry. - Certificate or Diploma in accounting, finance, or any related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced
environment. - Knowledge of inventory management systems and experience in stock control.
- Experience in fast moving consumer foods (FMCG) sector a plus.
