Express Credit Zambia seeks to recruit a self- motivated, experienced, skillful and result oriented professional for Partnership Manager Position Based in Lusaka.

Job Purpose

Responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, compliance and legal, to support partnership initiatives, and coordinate efforts to ensure alignment and maximize opportunities. This role will contribute to the sales growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential partnership opportunities through market research, networking, and industry analysis.
  • Pursue potential partnership opportunities to expand the company’s reach and impact.
  • Manage and nurture existing partnerships, ensuring that the company is delivering on its promises and exceeding expectations.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key partners at all levels.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, understanding their needs, challenges and objectives to develop tailored partnership strategies.
  • Lead negotiations with potential partners to establish mutually beneficial terms and agreements.
  • Ensure that partnerships are structured to deliver value for all parties involved while mitigating risks and ensure that partnerships align with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, compliance and legal, to support partnership initiatives, and coordinate efforts to ensure alignment and maximize opportunities.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of partnership activities.
  • Monitor partnership performance and impact, making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. Use insights to identify new partnership opportunities and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Contribute to the sales growth of the company through partnerships
  • Oversee internal and external Direct Sales Agents

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Grade 12 School Certificate with 5 Credits including English and Mathematics
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing and Sales/Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ proven, extensive and well referenced experience in Sales and Relationship Management at managerial level.
  • Proven experience in partnership management, business development, or related roles within the microfinance industry
  • Ability to negotiate and close partnership deal
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop opportunities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders
  • Clean and valid Driver’s License.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of relevant industries and market dynamics, with the ability to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a track record of achieving targets
  • Self-motivated, and improvement-oriented personality.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Independent and flexible.
