Employment Opportunity for Lodge Manager

Are you passionate about hospitality and ready to lead a team in providing unforgettable experiences amidst a serene environment? We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Lodge Manager to oversee the operations of Bestbeb Executive Lodge. The lodge has 27 self- contained shower rooms with DSTV, coffe and tea making facilities, fridge and free Wi-Fi internet access, restaurant, and swimming pool and Genset for stand by power.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day lodge operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services.
Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service quality, cleanliness and hospitality.
Recruit, train, and supervise lodge staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Come up with promotions and packages to increase revenue
Monitor lodge finances, including budgeting, expense management, and revenue generation.
Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local community stakeholders.

Qualifications

A diploma or higher in Hospitality Management
Proven experience in lodge or hotel management, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of hospitality industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holiday
Work Hours: 8 or more depending on duty demand
