Job Description: Sales Manager

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record in sales management, specifically in the mining sector. You will be a key player in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence in this dynamic and challenging industry.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.

Strategy Development:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth.

Customer Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.

Performance Management:
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.

Market Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.

Sales Training:
Oversee the development and delivery of sales training programs to enhance the skills of the sales team.

Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

Requirements
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales management.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

Skills:

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
