Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring that he/she builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
- Identifying trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events.
- Tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
- Locating or proposing potential business deals by contacting potential partners.
- Discovering and exploring business opportunities.
- Screening potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
- Evaluating options and resolving internal priorities.
- Recommending equity investments.
- Developing negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations.
- Examining risks and potentials for the business opportunities.
- Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Protecting organization’s value by keeping confidential information.
- Enhancing organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Qualification/Experience Requirements:
- Grade 12 School Certificate
- BA in Business Administration/B Eng Mechanical or a related field
- 3 -5 years of Sales Experience
- Not more than 45 years old
- Member of a relevant professional board
- Holder a Master’s Degree an added advantage
