Warehouse and Inventory Assistant Neelkanth Fresh Foods Limited

We seek a driven and results-oriented Warehouse and Inventory Assistant to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by maintaining accurate inventory records, assisting with stock management, and contributing to a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Cross-check stock against invoices and purchase orders to identify discrepancies.
• Assist in investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Update inventory management system with accurate stock data.

Stock Handling:

• Assist in receiving and unloading incoming stock deliveries.
• Ensure proper storage of stock, including labeling and organization.
• Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare outgoing shipments for loading onto trucks.

Warehouse Maintenance:

• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, cleaning, and organizing.
• Assist in the fumigation process to prevent pest infestations.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Order pallets and other necessary supplies for warehouse operations.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or better in a related field
• Previous 2 years minimum of warehouse or inventory experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Basic computer skills for inventory system updates.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
