Join a leading Engineering and construction Division- Lifts department, we’re expanding and seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our department. Lead all aspects of the Lifts department, driving growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage installation, maintenance, and repair of lifts and escalators.
- Supervise and coordinate lift technicians.
- Conduct routine inspections and safety checks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Respond to emergency service calls and ensure timely repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Provide training and support to technicians.
- Collaborate with clients and ensure excellent customer service.
- Manage budget, inventory, and procurement.
- Prepare and manage tenders for projects and contracts.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with lifts, with managerial experience; Diploma or Degree in relevant field is added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of lift systems.
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and reading technical manuals.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Preparing and managing tenders added advantage.
