Responsibilities:
- Provide information and recommendations to clients.
- Plan itineraries that meet clients’ budgets and requests.
- Address and resolve customer and vendor issues promptly.
- Maintain records of bookings, payments, and communications.
- Manage travel-related conflicts, complaints, cancellations, and refunds.
- Foster strong relationships with travel and tour vendors.
- Ensure smooth tour operations and make rational decisions during emergencies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A tertiary qualification in Travel, Tourism, or a related field.
- Strong communication and sales skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Understanding of foreign and domestic travel requirements.
- Proven experience as a Customer service or sales consultant (minimum of 1 year).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Experience with email communication and scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of online research tools for gathering travel-related information.
- Comfortable with using social media platforms for marketing and customer engagement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in hospitality or tourism.
- Experience in handling corporate, leisure, and group travel.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
