Position: Excavator Operator
Location: Kabwe, Zambia
Responsibilities:
Operate excavators to perform various tasks including digging, loading, and leveling.
Ensure safe operation of equipment and adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production targets efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an excavator operator, preferably in a mining or construction environment.
Valid excavator operator certification/license.
Knowledge of excavator maintenance procedures.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as required.
