Security Superintendent x1 (Permanent and Pensionable) Lusaka Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited

JOB PURPOSE

To execute matters pertaining to preventing crime, carrying out investigations on all cases of criminal in nature by ensuring security provision to various stakeholders and protecting company assets.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To detect crime and set up counteractive measures by enforcing rules and regulations in the company.
• To carry out thorough investigations on all cases reported within the company.
• To supervise internal and external security staff to ensure compliance to deployment levels.
• To guarantee safety of workers and customers at company premises and implement deployment of Guards and Police officers at designated sites.
• To enforce the NWASCO Act with regard to illegal water and sewer connections by residents and advises relevant authorities for follow ups.
• To provide maximum security for cash in transit by ensuring that there is strict adherence to security procedures and appropriate transport to convey cash to designated places.
• To gather intelligence reports and provide daily updates and feedback to the Head of Security.
• To prepare reports pertaining to court cases and general operations of the unit.
• To performs any other duties as delegated by superiors.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

(i) School Certificate

(ii) Certificate in Zambia Police Training, Criminology or its Equivalent.

(iii) Two (2) years’ experience

(iv) Diploma in law, Business Studies or its equivalent will be added advantage
