Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical controls, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Providing in-house maintenance of all electrical appliances
- Performing general electrical maintenance.
- Inspecting machines, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
- Performing circuit breakers corrective maintenance.
- Periodic inspection of all compressors to avoid overheating
Required Skills:
- Ability to work with others as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of maintenance schedules and routines.
- Good knowledge of equipment installation
- Knowledge of electronics will be an added advantage
Education and Work Experience:
- At least 2 years work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Diploma in a relevant electrical course.
- Experience working as an electrician in a food manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
