SENIOR RISK OFFICER (1) LUSAKA
Job Summary
The primary purpose of the job is to manage risks (including fraud risks), conduct investigations and provide assessments, analytics, monitoring and reporting, within the set policies, procedures and standards.
Job Specifications
- Assist in conducting risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities within the company.
- Monitor key risk indicators and report deviations to the Head – Risk.
- Collaborate with the Head – Risk to develop and implement risk management policies and procedures
- Help departments across the organization in updating risk registers.
- Support the development and delivery of risk-related training materials.
- Conduct investigations and forensic procedures, in collaboration with third parties where applicable
- Participate in the planning and investigation/assessments into fraud risks.
- Perform other duties as delegated by Management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Full Grade 12 Certificate or its equivalent
- Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Audit, Economics or equivalent
- Possession of a Professional Qualification such as Chartered Accountant/ACCA/LLB is an added advantage.
Minimum Requirements
- Prior work experience in Risk Management or Internal Audit or Fraud/Forensics Examination will be an added advantage
- Strong investigations skills
- Strong Analytics and Problem Solving skills
