An international NGO active in humanitarian aid and development cooperation is implementing a project with the title Green Solutions for Sustainable Development and Growth in the Monze District , is looking for a;
Financial Inclusion officer
Responsibilities :
Core Responsibilities and Implementation:

Supports and assists the Project Coordinator in delivering the outcomes of the project
Works closely with Agriculture Officer, Business Development Officer and Project Accountant to ensure synchronization and complexness of the project activities
Supporting implementation of day-to-day project activities according to the Project documents, work plan, and budget.

Technical Support :

Selection, training and continuous monitoring, mentoring and support of Master Trainers in promoting Rural Enterprise Growth (REG) saving group model.
Closely cooperate with partners on mobilisation, training and loan assessment, disbursement and collection to project farmers.
Identify and engage other financial services providers (including insurance) in linking their services to saving groups, individual farmers and five selected green businesses.
Collaborate with project partners on development of methodology on financial literacy for farmers, cooperatives and five green businesses and other relevant topics.
Support financial literacy capacity building of Lead and Follower Farmers and Cooperatives in close cooperation with government extension officers and project partners.
Be actively involved in digitization of Rural Enterprise Growth (REG), saving groups and money transfers related to crop aggregation.
Identify and engage potential private sector partners among agro dealers, who can be linked to REG saving groups.
Regular monitoring and day-to-day support of project farmers, saving groups and cooperatives on aspects related to financial inclusion.
Support technical partners in mobilisation of project participants, training, monitoring, mentoring, research and any other relevant tasks related to financial inclusion aspects
Provide financial inclusion related expertise to the project participants and project partners to effectively implement their activities and ensure that financial inclusion practices promoted by the project are sustainable and socially responsible.

Planning:

Contributes to annual, quarterly and monthly planning of the project activities consolidated by the Project Coordinator.
Prepares own weekly action plans for day-to-day implementation linked to project priorities and indicators approved by the Project Coordinator

Reporting:

Prepares activity reports including consolidation of sources of verification relevant to savings and financial linkages related activities the Financial Inclusion Officer is responsible for;
Contributes to consolidation on monthly, semi-annual and annual reports including monthly consolidation of sources of verification for all the project activities
Contributes to compiling data and draft reports for donor and stakeholder reports for submission.

Monitoring and Evaluation :

Continuously monitors implementation of project activities to ensure timely achievement of set plans, indicators, and targets within allocated budget.
Systematically collects, processes and analyses project data; designs and participates on assessments, surveys and related research.
Designs and improves project implementation tools, guideline.

Project Development:

Contributes to development of a strategic plan for increasing the scope and impact of Caritas Czech Republic in the region
Providing input, data, budget information and contact information to new proposals in full consultation with the Country Director

Requirements:

Tertiary education; Degree in Accountancy, CIMA foundation, ACCA-Foundation in Accountancy (FIA), ZICA Technician
Proven experience of at least 3 years in project finance and accounting, financial reporting, and working with farmers and partners as a Financial Inclusion Officer.
Experience with Project Cycle Management is an advantage.
Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Packages
Experience working with international organizations or NGOs is an advantage
Fluent in English and knowledge of relevant local language for specific district – written and spoken
Ability to work with different partners, local authorities, local organizations and NGOs, develop and maintain positive relationships.
Integrity, willingness to work and produce results in a dynamic environment
Good time management skills and able to work under pressure.
