Field Sales and Marketing Officer Scorpion Power Zambia Limited

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for planning and executing sales and marketing campaigns to generate new prospects and improve client retention.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Devise marketing campaigns with the goal of increasing product awareness and increasing sales and profits.
2. Plan, organize, and execute marketing and sales programs.
3. Act as the point persons for outside, inside and partner sales teams.
4. Track market and company sales performance.
5. Generate leads and drive sales.
6. Gather and report customer intelligence to sales team.
7. Develop marketing plans.
8. Manage vendor hire purchase contracts.
9. Supervise marketing assistants and employees.
10. Support all company initiatives, give actionable feedback, share best practices and serve as advocate and information source for company.
11. Create programs that drive brand loyalty.
12. Manage marketing budgets.
13. Attend trade shows and events to market product.
14. Develop effective account conversion strategies to accelerate adoption.
15. Determine product/service value delivered throughout customer operations and effectively communicate value to customers to promote new applications and sales.
16. Improve forecast performance of business through thorough understanding of underlying demand assumptions.
17. Keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and new opportunities.
18. Develop understanding of product line and value chain.
The candidate:

Must have at least 5 years’ experience working in hire purchase companies.
Must possess good negotiating skills.
Must be conversant with target-based work systems.
Must possess a first degree in Marketing with three 3 experience or an advanced diploma in marketing with 5 years’ experience.
Must Possess a valid unrestricted Zambian driver’s license.
