Key Duties and Responsibilities:
– Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
– Ensure food is prepared and presented with high-quality standards and visual appeal.
– Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
– Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet service deadlines and customer expectations.
– Monitor and replenish food supplies and ingredients as needed.
– Adhere to portion control guidelines and minimize food waste.
– Assist in cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils.
– Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper storage and labeling of food items.
– Participate in kitchen cleaning and organization tasks as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills, Proficiency, Experience and Exposure
– Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cook.
– Proven experience as a Cook in a similar culinary environment.
– Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
– Ability to follow recipes and guidelines for food preparation.
– Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
– Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
– Team player with effective communication and collaboration abilities.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
