Key Duties and Responsibilities:
– Plan and execute landscaping projects to enhance the surroundings visual appeal.
– Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants on lodge grounds.
– Prune and trim trees and bushes to maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance.
-Perform routine maintenance tasks, including watering, weeding, and fertilizing.
– Monitor the health of plants and address pest or disease issues.
– Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
– Uphold health and safety standards in all gardening activities.
– Provide recommendations for plant selections and landscape improvements.
– Experience in swimming pool maintenance
Qualifications, Skills, Proficiency, Experience and Exposure:
– Grade 12 Certificate
– Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or a related field is preferred.
– Knowledge of local plant species and their care requirements.
– Familiarity with landscaping principles and design.
– Ability to operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
– Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
– Strong attention to detail and a commitment to creating a visually appealing landscape.
– Basic communication skills in English.
– Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
