As a Logistics Assistant at Access logistics , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics and supply chain processes. You will support the logistics team by managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and assisting with various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Skills:
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in shipments, inventory, and documentation.
Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with team members, suppliers, and customers.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address and resolve issues that may arise in the logistics process.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems) and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent: A basic requirement for most entry-level positions.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred): Degrees in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field can be advantageous.
Experience:
Entry-Level Experience: Experience in a related field, such as customer service, administrative support, or warehousing, can be beneficial.
Personal Traits:
Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
