AREA MANAGER – SOUTHERN COMMERCIAL (1)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Carrying out regular full stocktake and Cash Reconciliations per assigned outlet and reporting any or all shortages/frauds immediately to Internal Audit (IA) and their Regional Manager
- Collecting of Weekly Trading Returns from outlets in their area of supervision.
- Monitoring the appearance and ensuring maintenance of infrastructure and equipment in the premises including but not limited to the following: management, maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment and generators and ensuring that all burglar alarms, fire extinguishers and CCTV cameras are functioning.
- Be the HR / Retail Admin facilitation person between the outlet staff and the retailing office, and ensuring that outlet staff follow the Zambeef standard operating procedures, have the required training, operating tools, appropriate protective clothing and are medically fit to perform duties in the outlet.
- Ensuring that outlets have valid statutory and licensing certificates and all the utility bills, licence renewal fees and other operational levies are paid on time.
- Monitoring the ordering and displaying of products and ensuring compliance by the outlets. Ensuring that there are no stock-outs or expired products being displayed.
- Meeting customers from time to time and obtaining customer feedback on both product quality and service delivery
- Ensuring the Butchery and its staff are in a hygienic state and staff are wearing protective clothing and name tags at all times while on the premises.
- Monitoring Staff Discipline in relation to marking of registers, absenteeism, time keeping, pilfering, drunkenness, customer care, staff hygiene and wearing of protective clothing and name tags in outlets assigned to him.
- Reporting to Management all noticeable and foreseeable risks and/or business opportunities for each site.
- Responsible for safe keeping and proper maintenance and repair of the company vehicle assigned to him.
- Performing any other duties that will be assigned to you by Management.
The Required Qualifications are:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 3 years of work experience
- Must Have Computer Skills
The Required Attributes Include:
- Able to work with the Alien System
- Able to work with in Trade Application
- Able to work with outlet machinery.
- Able to fill in required documentation – daily reports
