The company is now seeking to recruit Vibrant and exceptional Storeman/Stores Clerk who is highly adept at devising successful strategies that include verbal communication, visual skills to present the warehouse and products optimally and basic math’s skills to handle transactions and inventory management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: The Storeman/Stores clerk will be required to perform the following tasks:
1. Receive requests from the Customer/Planners and ensure requisition forms are completed accurately.
2 Capture all client requests on system.
3. Pick and dispatch stock items.
4. Receive stock, capture in the system and place in the correct bin after labeling.
5. Update received parts in the system and also record and update the stock record accordingly.
6. Ensure the correct stock and correct quantity and quality is received and note any deviations.
6. Cost stock in the work order and send quotations to the Customer.
7. Ensure all issue documentation is signed off and accurate records maintained.
8. Capture all items that are returned to the Warehouse on the system, label and store in the correct place.
9. Check maximum and minimum stock levels twice a week to ensure that correct stock levels are on hand at all times.
10. Maintain bin locations, report any changes to Supervisor so that the system can be updated.
11. To ensure bin locations for new stock codes are updated in the system.
12. Participate in cycle counts and stock counts.
13. Expedite unavailable stock and back ordered stock.
14. Ensure the best storage and handling of warehouse stock.
15. Maintain a safe and clean environment.
16. Control and secure inventory; including warehouse equipment

Requirements:

1.Young Graduates are encouraged to Apply.
2.Grade 12 certificate.
3.Minimum entry of a Diploma or better in purchasing and supply
4.3 to 5 years working experience in similar role.
5.An Affiliated member of Zambia Institute of purchasing and supply.
6.Strong pressure resistance and sense of responsibility.
