Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Lecturer with experience in Sustainable Agriculture, specializing in Soil and Water Management. The successful candidate will contribute to our academic programs through teaching, research, and community engagement focused on sustainable agricultural practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in sustainable agriculture, soil science, and water management.
Conduct innovative research in soil and water conservation practices and their impacts on agriculture.
Mentor students in their academic pursuits and research projects.
Collaborate with industry stakeholders and participate in outreach initiatives.
Engage in departmental and university service activities.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Soil Science, Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (PhD will be an added advantage).
Proven expertise in sustainable agriculture practices, soil health, and water resource management.
Experience in teaching at the higher education level is advantageous.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
