Internal Auditor Mwense Trades Training Institute

Mwense Trades Training Institute under the Ministry of Technology and Science is currently seeking the services of a suitably qualified person to fill the position of:

INTERNAL AUDITOR (1)

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

To enable the Board (through the audit committee and the principal) discharge its oversight role by monitoring and evaluating on a continuous basis the adequacy and effectiveness of the Institute’s network of risk management, control and governance processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES

I. Full Grade twelve (12) or equivalent Certificate with credits or better in five subjects
II. Holder of a degree in Auditing/Accountancy or Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g. ACCA/ZICA/CIMA) or equivalent
III. Minimum of three (3) years [experience in internal auditing
IV. Must be well vested with government and training college operations
V. Advanced computer skills including MS Office, accounting software and databases.
VI. A high degree of attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
VII. Member of a professional body such as ZICA, the Institute of Internal Auditors, etc
VIII. Must not be more than forty five (45) years of age.
