The Sales Executive is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other potential business sources.
- Conduct sales presentations and site inspections to showcase the resort’s facilities and services.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve individual and team sales targets.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain regular contact with existing clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests, providing exceptional customer service.
- Address and resolve any issues or complaints to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve revenue goals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Manager or Operations Manager to create promotional materials and campaigns.
Reporting and Administration
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contract negotiations.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for the Sales and Marketing or Operations Manager.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
