Role Overview
A loader operator is responsible for operating and driving multi-wheeled heavy vehicles to transport goods and services from the distribution centers to various locations. Loader operators must have excellent driving skills and a clean driving record to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to perform other duties in the loading area (loader, haul truck)
Operation of off-highway equipment within the facility
Other duties may include the operation of off-road mobile equipment such as shipping loaders, pit loaders, dozers, graders, excavators, crane
Travel to other facilities may be required
Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (equipment operation/repair,) Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors
Ability to perform other duties in the loading area (950G,924G and 920Excavator, backhoe, forklift)
Loading materials.
Preferred candidate qualifications & experience
Grade 12 Certificate
Must have a valid driver’s license;
Certificate in Loader operator/excavator operator
Operating Permit.
Operating heavy equipment
