Position Overview:
We are urgently seeking two Finance Officers to support our Accounts/Finance team. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, as this role provides a solid foundation for career development in finance and accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable: Manage customer payments and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Reconciliations: Perform bank, client, and vendor reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- General Accounting: Assist in day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries and financial records.
- Statutory Compliance: Support the team in meeting statutory obligations and filing requirements.
- Petty Cash Management: Maintain and reconcile petty cash accounts.
- Other Assignments: Participate in various finance-related projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounts, Finance, or Commerce.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word is an added advantage.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Eagerness to learn and adapt to Zambia Newrest’s culture.
