Qualifications
- Must have a Diploma in Human Resource Management or Public Administration from a reputable institution.
- Minimum of 1 year work experience.
- Refined knowledge of Zambia Employment Labour Laws.
- Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM).
- preferably female
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal details, employment history, and benefits information.
- Coordinate employee time-off requests.
- Assist with payroll processing, including data entry, benefits administration, and compliance with labour laws.
- Prepare and distribute employee communications, including company news, policies, and benefits information.
- Respond to employee inquiries, provide guidance, and resolve issues.
- Assist in resolving employee conflicts, grievances, and complaints.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs, team-building activities, and employee events.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, including minimum wage, overtime, and workers’ compensation.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, such as workplace accidents or employee misconduct.
- Communicate HR-related information to employees, management, and external parties.
- Support employee training and development programs.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
