Waiter Business Momenyum Advisory Service

Our client, in Woodlands, is looking to hire a Waiter at their Lodge.
The role holder will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and memorable dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving meals, and ensuring guests have a pleasant and enjoyable time at our lodge restaurant.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Present menus and provide detailed information on dishes and specials.
Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen.
Serve meals and beverages promptly and efficiently.
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive and personalized service.
Process payments and provide accurate change or process electronic transactions.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
Uphold health and safety standards in food service.
Qualifications, Skills, Proficiencies, Experience, and Exposure:

2 years’ previous experience as a Waiter or in a similar role is preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic restaurant environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
Basic math skills for order processing and payment transactions.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Knowledge of food and beverage menu items.
Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Knowledge of restaurant etiquette and service standards.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
