Job Description:
- Capable of measuring seals and assembly & disassembly of cylinders.
- Cylinder assessment for material replacement.
- Seal review and seal recommendation based on findings.
- Must be able to sketch, gland, piston & cylinder designs for manufacturing drawings to be made.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of hydraulic equipment.
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings.
- Conduct pressure testing and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with the workshop supervisor and team to meet project requirements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of hydraulic systems as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience as a Hydraulic Technician.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and components.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hydraulic issues efficiently.
- Proficient in reading hydraulic schematics and technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Relevant technical certifications or qualifications preferred.
