We are currently seeking a motivated Panel Beater to join our dynamic and professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle bodywork to its original condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and repair damage to cars and trucks, and repaint them if needed
• Check vehicles for exterior or frame damage, carrying out necessary repairs to restore the vehicle’s condition
• Mend scratches, dents, and other damage to the paintwork
• Perform spray painting to restore vehicle appearance, matching colors and finishes accurately
• Perform full body vehicle repairs, including chassis and any structural car damage
• Perform panel beating and body repairs, including dent removal, welding, filling, and smoothing surfaces
• Carry out general welding and brazing as required
• Replace damaged auto body parts as an auto body mechanic
• Ensure alignment and fit of panels and body components
• Work closely with the paint team to maintain seamless repair and finishing processes

Requirements

Proven experience as a Panel Beater or similar role in an automotive body repair environment

In-depth knowledge of various panel beating techniques, welding, and metalworking

Ability to read and interpret job cards, technical drawings, and repair instructions

Strong eye for detail, with excellent problem-solving skills

Grade 12 certificte
